Sabor de Havana

Kind of Experience: Themed Food Truck

Programs Used: Procreate

The overall goal of this food truck design is to make people feel like they're eating on the cobblestoned streets of Old Havana. The exterior of the truck would have a 3D sculpture of some of the historic buildings found in Old Havana, which would be attached to the truck instead of using a wrap. The menu will be handwritten, similar to the style of Trader Joe's signage, in order to give it a more human feel. Additionally, the menu board and tables will be made out of wood in order to help emphasize that man made feeling. There will also be a floor spread meant to mimic the cobblestone streets of Havana. A Cuban flag will be flying off of the truck, helping to create a photo op for guests to use.

For the night time version, the lighting design will be the biggest difference. The lighting is meant to create a more glowing and intimate feel. The windows of the buildings will light up in order to create a glow instead of creating directional lighting, this will also make it feel like a street that's alive. The sign on top of the truck and the palm trees will also have lights on them.

In addition, here are some audios that I designed for the atmosphere around the truck:
